The evils of technology
Recently there have been some commercials for Bank of America that feature a voice that sounds like Kiefer Sutherland. My initial reaction to hearing them was that it was him, but then as I kept listening it started to sound less like him and more like someone very good at sounding like him. So every time I see this commercial, I consider going online to find out once and for all if it's Kiefer Sutherland or not. But I didn't, because in my mind there was something fun and intriguing about it remaining a mystery in a day when just about any mystery (at least mundane ones like this) can be solved with a couple of keystrokes.
But 5 minutes ago I gave in. I googled "Bank of America Kiefer Sutherland" and was sure that a dozen sites featuring intense debate over whether it was really him would pop up. There would be conspiracy theories about celebrity voice impersonators being the hot new advertising tool. Alas, all I found were listings over dozens of sites that immediate confirmed that Kiefer Sutherland is, in fact, the new voice of Bank of America.
Mystery solved. Fun over.

Sutherland...Sutherland...
Hell, I'm still stuck on Asner.
That reminds me of those Sonic commercials with the married couple. Every time I saw one, I'd consider going online to find out once and for all who they were. But I didn't, because in my mind there was something fun and intriguing about it remaining a mystery.

And now here I am.
Funny. I was positive that it was Ed Asner.
Jeeper Kiefer!
That's so meta. I went online to see if your name was really Molly (after seeing the banana split shake commercial). I might try it but every time I go to Sonic -- which is about once a week -- I end up getting breakfast, regardless of the time of day.
But just as your fun has ended, mine has begun as I've cruised through about 6 months worth of blog entries. Woohoo! More smack for the ol' addiction.
(What else was I going to do? I already spent an hour looking at trailer-based bbq pits on craigslist)
Forgot to mention, turns out Molly is both a Sonic spokesperson (should that be spokesmodel?) and character:

It's totally Kief. My girlfriend and I remarked on the same commerical. I said it was his "happy soothing" voice. I thought it'd be funny if it were more CTU-like: "Damn it, Chloe! There's no time NOT to bank online with Bank of America!!"
