By now some of you may have noticed that my Sonic spots have not been on in a while. Unfortunately, the days of Brian & Molly have come to an end. The good news is that next week I will be shooting some new spots with a new female partner. That’s all I can tell you right now, but I’m looking forward to seeing how this new direction turns out, and I hope you’ll like it.
Thanks to everyone who’s asked where we went and said that they missed seeing our spots. I certainly miss them too and will miss working with Brian.

Great news! I recently started watching TV again and was a bit sad to see all these other people in Sonic ads, but no you. Glad you’ll be back.
And my best wishes to you on all your other career moves.

My oldest son and I ate at the Sonic in Rossford, OH, this evening and wondered where those spots had gone. You and Brian and a great chemistry and will be sorely missed. I’m sure those spots will end up in a “classic collection” somewhere.

Oddly enough, I was just wondering this very thing.
So how are they writing Brian out of story? Or will they simply swap in this new female partner without a word, the way they replaced Darren on Bewitched?

Nicely done!

I was watching the commercial with the two guys and though of you and Brian. You really fit the spot well. They should bring you all back. Do take care in future endeavors. This makes me hungry so will go to Sonic.

I’m glad to hear you’ll be doing them again. I’ve really missed seeing them, but thankfully there’s youtube. They are some of the funniest commercials ever! Your timing and delivery are spot on.

Hi Molly – we miss your blogging. What’s up?

Just saw the new one! This series promises to be good. I love all these Sonic ads, keep up the good work.

I’m sorry to see Brian is gone too, since you and he had such a goofy, likable chemistry. Your new ad was just on today but I was looking away, ostensibly doing something important but actually arranging something mundane, and I missed it. Would you mind coming to my house and performing it for me? TIA.

My wife and I always would laugh out loud when your ads would come on. Well done all around. I am saddened that we won’t be seeing Brian any longer. But…
I just saw your new ad. Good to see you in the drivers seat. Loved it.

Obviously Molly’s character has come out, dumped her husband and taken up with a female life partner. Those peach ice teas can do that to you, LOL. Go Molly! You’re such a natural on camera. You’re going to be SUCH a mega-star someday. WTG!

My husband and I have been waiting to see you in the “couple” Sonic ads. They were great – wish they’d come back. Looking forward to what comes next!
