Just got back last night from a Sonic shoot in Vegas. And now begins what I can only guess will be a large chuck of downtime. The writers strike not only means that tv and film productions are being pretty much shut down, but also that agents are not exactly keen on sweeping up new clients at this time. So for now, all I can do is make sure I’m as prepared as I can be for when business picks back up again: updating and printing resumes, sending stuff out to agents, etc. Other than that, hello Netflix!
I feel like everyone, including me, is always wishing they had some time to just do nothing. But I think you can really only enjoy doing nothing when you’re taking a week off from an otherwise productive life. Right now I just feel like there’s something I should be doing, but I can’t, so I my downtime isn’t as enjoyable really. But I’ll try to make the most of it.
