Oh, the writers strike. It’s a big topic of conversation. I’m definitely frustrated that it’s happening just as I’m getting to LA, but in a way, it takes some of the pressure off of me. All I can really do right now is tr to get an agent and just wait for the strike to be over. And I’ve taken some steps to try to get an agent, so for now I feel like I’ve done all I can. So I’m trying to just relax and get to know the city and enjoy the time off. That’s tough to do of course, but I’m trying.
So, with that in mind, there’s not a whole lot to report from here right now. I’m still making weekly trips to Target for who know what. I saw Lars and the Real Girl the other day, and I thought it was great and recommend it more than Michael Clayton. I know what I should be spending my time doing is reading, but I’m having a hard time starting that. I have about a dozen books piled up to read, but no urge to read them.
Oh, have I mentioned the Ziplock steam bags recently? Come on.
